The special days that we offer for schools are based on a key principle which connects nature and the land to a series of initiatives and activities designed to help pupils learn through CREATIVITY, MOVEMENT AND PLAY.

Together we discover:

-    Theatre and circus skills workshops;
-    Environmental education;
-    Activities with horses and ponies (jumping, cleaning, looking after and getting to know horses);
-    Taking part in country life (milking the sheep, turning milk into ricotta and growing vegetables in the garden);
-    Visual arts workshops (perception of the element in nature, creation of installations, painting and drawing…);
-    Cookery and nutritional education workshops (planning, minestrone …);
-    Educational trips (the archaeological site of Hippana, the Solomon Rock and the Geological Museum, nearby towns);

The courses are run by F.I.S.E. (Italian Federation of Equestrian Sports) instructors, professional artists and expert naturalist guides. They will take place in the Sosio Valley in the heart of the Nature Reserve of the Sicani Mountains, a marvellous uncontaminated setting, rich in tradition.
