Scuro Mountain
This hike is mostly naturalistic and very scenic with a vertical drop of about 700 meters , you get to share mt.1.200 . From Monte Indisi you can enjoy
a wonderful view of the Sosio Valley Reserve and a large part of the Sicani Mountains, with visibility to Busambra Rock ( Ficuzza ) , the villages of Juliana, Chiusa Sclafani , Carcaci Monte , Monte Cammarata ...
It continues the trek towards the ancient woods of Monte Scuro,
within which lies the source of the river Sosio , with a lunch break
in the woods near a nice area with waterfalls and ponds.
Continuation of the trek to the summit of Mount "Scuro" (Pizzo Potorno), where you can enjoy a 360° panoramic view of the Sicani ( from Monte Cammarata to the lake Leone, mountains of Burgio..).
18.00 : Back home, restaurateur moment (tea, herbal tea .. ).
